I am a stay-at-home mom to a wonderful happy nine-month-old baby boy, and I am a portrait photographer. I love photography and I hope to make it a lifelong fulfilling career. I am just getting my business started, and I am still quite inexperienced (sometimes quite overwhelmingly so actually). But everyone has to start somewhere, so here I am starting. I am doing what I love, and I am so thankful that what I love also allows me to be with my son all day.
I have a goal now to take more photos, even when I have no paid jobs. On a daily basis, I need to use my camera more and experiment with it, try new things. I know it is the only way I will grow as an artist.
So to start off, photo of the day #1:
Clematis Street, Downtown West Palm Beach, FLI shot this on a walk downtown with my family. I know it isn't super amazing- actually the focus is a little off. But I liked the sign and thought it would make an interesting shot.
